Originating in northern Mexico, this cheese was originally named "Queso Ranchero de Chihuahua”, which translates to "ranch-style cheese from Chihuahua" It is also associated with the Mennonites who settled in this region, which is why it is referred to as Menonita cheese.
Menonita is aged for 45 days. This aging process allows us to develop its signature flavor profile.
Menonita is suitable as option on a cheeseboard or melted into dishes like Mac and Cheese.
