What began with the courage and dedication of Don Alberto and Doña Soledad has become a family legacy— devoted to the art of crafting authentic Mexican cheeses, with quality, care, and tradition in every cheese.
WE GREW IN THE HEART OF LOS ALTOS DE JALISCO
A region renowned for its rich 400-year tradition of livestock farming and cheesemaking. We have learned to value what the red soil of the area gives us to create cheeses with a unique flavor.
OUR HISTORY
THROUGH TIME
The story of Quesos Navarro doesn’t begin with cheese, but with the entrepreneurial spirit of two people who never stopped believing in their family vision—even when the circumstances weren’t always in their favor.
Don Alberto Navarro Cruz and Doña Soledad González were pioneers in many ways. Although they faced setbacks in previous business ventures, they never stopped pursuing new ideas. With perseverance and commitment, they built the first ice factory in Tepatitlán, which allowed them to gain valuable knowledge in refrigeration and preservation systems.
From that experience, they took their next step: buying milk, cooling it, and selling it to the dairy industry, becoming active participants in the local dairy value chain. It was a time of deep learning that laid the foundation for what was to come.
Their collaboration with Kraft Foods opened a new door: cheese production. What began as a vision to bottle milk evolved when they decided to adapt their facilities for cheese manufacturing under a co-packer model. Thus was born— with steady steps and a forward-looking vision—what we now know as Quesos Navarro.
Since then, the company has been built upon strong values: family, hard work, quality, and a commitment to doing things right.
Born from the vision of Don Alberto Navarro Cruz and his wife Doña Soledad González González.
