To freeze the cheese, it is advisable to split it into different portions to consume only what is needed per occasion.

INGREDIENTS

200 grams Cheddar Cheese

12 figs

1/2 small pineapple

24 arugula leaves 

9 slices serrano ham

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon dijon mustard

3 tablespoons olive oil

Black pepper to taste


PREPARATION

1. Wash, rinse and dry figs. Cut in half. Set aside.

2. Cut the Cheddar Cheese into 1.5 cm-cubes. Refrigerate.

3. Peel and cut the pineapple in 0.5 cm-cubes. Set aside.

4. Wash and rinse arugula. Defoliate and select the smallest leaves.

5. Cut serrano ham into long and a little thick strip.

FOR THE DRESSING

6. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well.

FOR THE PRESENTATION

7. On half of the fig, put cubes of Cheddar cheese and pineapple cubes. Wrap with serrano ham strips and to decorate with a leaf of arúgula.

8. Finish with a little dressing on top.
